'In Touch' Trend Journal
As part of my Final Major Project at university, I produced a Spring Summer '18 colour and materials forecast in the form of a tactile trend journal focussing on the sense of touch and its place in modern society. This includes short editorials and well-researched concepts to direct and inform the commercial design world.
As the focus is on touch, I added subtle tactility to the pages, incorporated into the visuals, that can only really be noticed when felt. There are also material swatches featured in the journal that show my experimentation and highlight the properties and imagery mentioned in the forecast, providing a clearer direction for clients to follow.
